Members from Law Enforcement Gathered in Vilnius, Lithuania for an Open Source Intelligence Training Course Organized by the SENTER Project

During an intensive week of personal presence events, which took part on 9-13th of April, 2018, the training course participants were taught the subleties of open source intelligence. The personal presence events were a series of 1.5 day-long courses led by tutors from University of Albstadt-Sigmaringen, Germany.

A significant part of the training was dedicated to the practical open source intelligence tasks and exercises by employing various specialized tools for searching, aggregating, and analyzing information.

After this course, law enforcement officers, crime investigators and online investigators have deepened their knowledge in extracting freely online available data with the help of advanced technologies to assist with investigations. The newly acquired professional skills and knowledge will have an immediate impact on their daily investigative work.
